How a duel works
Little setup, and many challenges need no equipment at all. Put the iPhone on the table and play in the living room or the garden.
Pick the players
Kid vs. grown-up or kid vs. kid. Every player has a name and picture in the app.
Goaty reads it out
Goaty picks a challenge, explains it in a friendly voice, counts down and keeps time.
Stars and stickers
Enter what everyone managed. A child who wins gets 2 stars, otherwise a courage star. 4 stars make a sticker.

Fair for big and small
A grown-up can do more push-ups than a child. So every player has their own goal, and whoever reaches the bigger share of it wins.
Kids’ goals depend on age: 4–6, 7–9, and 10 and up.
Fair mode adjusts goals by 5% after every counting or holding duel. Win often, and you have to do more.
Before each challenge, use − and + to change the goal for that one duel.

Questions
What age is Goaty for?
Children aged about 5 to 9 – and every grown-up who accepts the challenge.
Do I need an account or internet?
No. Goaty runs fully offline on your iPhone. No account, no server.
Are there in-app purchases or a subscription?
No. Goaty costs €4.99 once (incl. VAT; prices outside the eurozone in local currency). New challenges unlock by playing, not by paying.
How do new challenges unlock?
When the first child in your family fills a sticker album (40 stickers), 50 more unlock; the second full album unlocks the next 50. Parents can also unlock them early under “Challenge packs”.
Dad finds it far too easy. What now?
In the parents area, raise Dad’s difficulty, e.g. to “Pro”. Fair mode also balances things after every counting or holding duel.
The voice sounds robotic.
Goaty uses your iPhone’s voices. Download a female voice in Premium or Enhanced quality under Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices. Then restart Goaty – it picks the voice automatically.
Reminders don’t arrive.
Turn the reminder on in the parents area under “Reminder” and allow notifications under Settings → Notifications → Goaty. Then open Goaty briefly. If Goaty isn’t opened for four weeks, reminders pause by themselves.
How do I open the parents area?
Tap the “Parents” tab with the lock and solve a small math question.
New iPhone – is my data gone?
Data is stored on the device only. An iCloud backup or direct device transfer usually brings it along.
Are the exercises safe?
The challenges are designed for children. Always play with an adult present and make sure there is enough space and a non-slip floor.
